Las Palmas on North Ave is a Mexican restaurant with some really good food. The atmosphere is upscale and maybe leans more towards a place to bring a date, but you can go there with a couple of friends no problem. They also play live music every once in a while which ads to the feel.The food is very good, but the reason everyone should check this place out is because of there guacamole. Once you order your gauc they wheel a cart over to your table full of ingredients and ask, "How do you want it, spicy, medium or mild?" then they start.
Right in front of you the ingredients are mixed and crushed together in what looks like a cement figurine. The cement figurine works as the mixing, grinding, and serving bowl. They are done within minutes then refill your chips and you are on your way.
Needless to say the guacamole was truly delicious along with the rest of my meal.
