Saturday, April 29th, is the annual release of the Three Floyds"Dark Lord" Russian Imperial Stout. The 'imperial stout' is arguablythe king of all beers—the most complexity of flavors, the fullest inbody, the richest in smell, and the strongest in alcohol content. TheDark Lord is ranked as the number one imperial stout in the world, the best beer in America, and the second best beer in the world. The one barrel that they produce each year will be sold off in a day or two.
And I will be there trying to get a pint. Thanks to Martin who gave me the heads up we will be driving down there tomorrow early in the AM. Where we will hopefully be early enough to get a ticket. While waiting we will BBQ play some bags and sip on a few lessor beverages. The actual tour starts at noon so hopefully we should be able to get in.
I'll let you know if it is as good as the hype.
